Everyone is different and needs an individualized therapy or counseling approach. At The Purpose Center, we focus on the specific problems that affect your daily life, using well-known, evidence-based techniques.
And, while techniques are important, authenticity, warmth, and empathy are integral for people to flourish in, and outside of, counseling. You are a whole person—mind, body, spirit - with strengths, and weaknesses.
Let us help you form a stronger family, decrease stress, enhance your relationships, find meaning in your life, and realize overall greater health and well-being.
At KKJ, we offer the following specialized services:
Health encompasses all areas of your life. At KKJ, we understand that you need to address your whole self – mind, body and spirit.
With authenticity, warmth, and empathy we can help you define your Purpose. This may be to reevaluate your priorities and values, or set goals for your health and life, but the Purpose you seek is to realize overall greater health and well-being.
We can help you find your Purpose through:

One cannot find their Purpose without personal exploration and growth. KKJ highly values the need to balance acceptance with hard work when striving to make important life changes. We use an active, problem solving approach in therapy to help you develop a plan for change. KKJ highly values the mind-body connection.
While techniques are important, authenticity, warmth, and empathy are integral for people to flourish in, and outside of, counseling and coaching. Telehealth Services Available
This is essential in the era of Covid-19. And, in normal times, it can be a very effective option for busy professionals or for parents without childcare. It can also be an option if you're traveling, if you can't get out of work, or if you're a short-term client taking advantage of health, relationship, or business coaching.
Forensic Psychology Services:
Every divorce is complicated and difficult to navigate. You can reduce the emotional stress and practical difficulties by working with someone who can help you choose how to design your divorce process. We provide co-parenting services, individual divorce coaching and therapy, and family therapy including reunification therapy. Dr. KKJ is a Certified Family Financial Mediator and trained in Collaborative Divorce.
Sometimes you need a psychological or substance use evaluation for diagnostic clarification or to determine if there is progress in therapy. We can also help you develop a clear path with a career assessment. Other times, employers may require a psychological or substance use evaluation to determine readiness to return to work. Lastly, we can help with adoption readiness evaluations.
